It was talent manager and showbusiness stalwart Arnold Vegafria who reported the good news, as he was live tweeting from India, where the coronation night took place Monday.

Miss Philippines also brought home two special awards: Miss Environment and Miss Speech.

But that's not all: Sophia and the Philippines have the privilege of saying we took home the first-ever Miss Multinational crown! Uh-huh, this is the debut edition of the pageant.

 

Since this is the first Miss Multinational, they called the national director of a winner to crown her own candidate. I'm so proud of you @sophiasenoron !
