Maxene walks down the aisle as Francis M’s ‘Girl be Mine’ plays
First, a mighty congratulations to the newlyweds! Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil said their “I Do’s” this afternoon at Shangri-La Boracay.
Saab may have missed her gig as Maxene’s matron of honor, but another family member was very much present.

In a video posted by Tim Yap on Instagram, you could see Maxene walking down the aisle with Francis M’s “Girl Be Mine” playing in the background.
The song was hitting its climax – you know, that point when it turned joyfully exultant — when Maxene met her mother Pia Magalona at the midpoint of her walk.
As they hugged tightly, you could see Rob at the other end of the aisle jumping excitedly.

The mother and daughter continued their walk, this time with a little more spring to their step.
