High intake of these food items will make you more prone to hyperacidity

These are the five food items Gastroenterologist Dr. Robert Tan pointed out on a recent episode of Pinoy MD that make people susceptible to hyperacidity.

According to Dr. Robert Tanhyperacidity is when your gut is producing more acid than normal.

“We actually need acid,” he begins in Filipino. “It helps digest food and acid is the first line of defense, especially when you eat something that’s not particularly clean. The acid in your stomach can kill the bacteria.”
