Rod Stewart cancels Manila concert

Rod Stewart’s Manila concert is cancelled, Live Nation Philippines announced.

The concert organizers said it was “due to unforeseen circumstances.” Fans will receive full refunds through their original payment methods and via SM Tickets.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding,” Live Nation added.

The rock legend best known for his distinct raspy voice was supposed to bring his Live in Concert, One Last Time? show to the Mall of Asia Arena on March 13. Ticket selling started in November.

Rod won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for “Stardust: The Great American Songbook, Volume III” in 2004.

His top songs include “Maggie May,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” “All for Love,” “Sailing,” and “Have I Told You Lately.”
