Wyn Marquez will wear a Francis Libiran creation for the Miss World PHL 2017 coronation night

Miss World hopeful and Kapuso star Winwyn Marquez revealed on Instagram that she will be donning a Francis Libiran creation on the coronation night on September 3.

She said she is both "honored and grateful" to be wearing a piece created by the Filipino renowned fashion designer on one of the most important nights of her life.

"The one and only Francis Libiran.. I am so honored and grateful to wear his creation on September 3! (Yes, 5 more days til the @msworldphil coronation night) I fell inlove with my gown and I hope you'll feel the same way when you see it on sunday," Wyn wrote on Instagram.

During the Zalora Fashion Show last Monday, Wyn said she is ready and excited to compete and perform on the gala night and pageant.

Apart from the Miss World Philippines title, three other crowns are up for grabs including Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2017, Miss Multinational 2017 and Miss Eco Philippines 2017.

The Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant will be held on September 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena and will telecast on GMA-7 on the same night. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
