PHL bet Elizabeth Clenci in top 10 of Miss Grand International swimsuit tilt

The Philippines' representative to the Miss Grand International pageant Elizabeth Clenci made it to the Top 10 of the swimsuit competition on Sunday.

She revealed the good news on her Instagram account, where she posted a photo of herself clad in a yellow two-piece bikini.

"Beautiful day everyone!! Top 10 in swimsuit, you guys are amazing, thank you. I also want to thank you all SO much for the kind words and love on my birthday. It truly added to an amazing day," the beauty queen wrote.

She also explained why she hasn't been active on social media.

"I've been working very hard since the final show is just around the corner... let me tell you it is going to be AMAZING. @missgrandinternational knows how to put on an incredible show and I'm so excited to be part of it," she wrote.

Elizabeth also made it to the Top 10 of the national costume competition where she paid tribute to the beauty of Mindanao with a T'boli tribe princess costume.

The winner for the swimsuit and national costume will be announced on pageant night.

Miss Grand International 2017 coronation night will be held on October 25 in Vietnam and will be hosted by Filipina beauty queen Nicole Cordoves, who was first runner-up in last year's competition. —JST, GMA News
