SONA 2018 RED CARPET: Politicians and guests arrive in stylish ensembles

For President Rodrigo Duterte's third State of the Nation Address, politicians, partners, celebrities and guests wore their Filipiniana best, strutting down the red carpet at the House of Representatives of the Philippines on Monday afternoon.

Senator Sonny Angara's wife Tootsy was clad in an off-the-shoulder Rajo Laurel piña dress with an LGBT pin to show her support for the SOGIE bill — similar to what Heart Evangelista wore in her morning ensemble.

It was still present in the afternoon, clipped on the upper left side of her white, butterfly sleeved-coat, of her Mark Bumgarner pantsuit.

Governor Imee Marcos meanwhile was clad in a blood red gown designed by Rocky Gathercole whom she choose for his inspirational rags-to-riches story. She said he started as a street child and now has his own boutique in Hollywood.
