Wednesday well-spent with the Miss Universe beauties

Well, that looks like a fun Wednesday, doesn't it?

The Miss Universe beauties had an eventful first day in the Philippines for the Winners Tour organized by the Department of Tourism, which is part of their Bring Home a Friend campaign.

The lovely ladies started their day by  down a wreath at the Rizal Monument, and then touring Manila's iconic sites like the Rizal Park and Intramuros.

The girls then headed straight to Resorts World Manila with Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo to meet the press.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters chanced upon each other at their press junket in Dusit Thani.

The queens and the candidates will gather once again at Solaire Eclipse Bar for their welcome dinner.

Their provincial tours will start on December 7; Demi-Leigh will be flying up north to Batanes, while Iris will be traveling to Bohol.

Filipina beauty queen Rachel Peters will play host, touring the rest of girls and enjoying the crystal clear beaches of Camiguin.
