Fuel price rollback set for Tuesday
Motorists will be greeted by lower pump prices of petroleum products this week, after three consecutive weeks of increases.
In separate advisories, Flying V, SEAOIL Philippines Inc., and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said they are rolling back the prices per liter of gasoline by P0.30 per, diesel by P0.30, and kerosene by P0.60.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. is implementing the same changes, excluding kerosene—a petroleum product it does not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8.
Other firms have yet to announce similar adjustment.
Department of Energy data showed the prices per liter of diesel presently range from P38.65 to P44.73, gasoline from P47.60 to P57.60, and kerosene from P45.22 to P54.96. —VDS, GMA News
