PAL opens more domestic flights from Clark

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has opened new routes via Clark International Airport in Pampanga to popular destinations in Northern Luzon, Mindoro, Palawan, and Mindanao.

The flag carrier said over the weekend that travelers may take flights from Clark to these points:

  • Siargao
  • San Vicente (Palawan)
  • Cauayan (Isabela)
  • San Jose (Mindoro)

PAL’s 86-seater Q400s—fitted with six Economy Plus and 80 Economy Class seats—would be utilized for the new routes.

The new routes would affirm the company as the biggest airline operator with a total of 19 destinations linked to Clark: Bacolod, Basco, Busuanga, Cagayan de Oro, Calbayog, Catarman, Caticlan, Cauayan, Cebu, Davao, Masbate, Naga, Puerto Princesa, San Jose, San Vicente, Siargao, Tagbilaran, Virac and Seoul (South Korea).

This development aims to enhance convenience and connectivity for domestic travelers, while helping decongest Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

These new flights are expected to boost tourism and make it more attractive for foreigners to visit tourist destinations across the country, the airline said. —Anna Felicia Bajo/VDS, GMA News
