Diesel, kerosene prices up starting Tuesday, gasoline unchanged

Prices of diesel and kerosene will go up this week, while gasoline will remain unchanged, according to oil companies.

In separate advisories, Flying V, Petron Corp., SEAOIL Philippines Inc., and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said gasoline prices will stay unchanged, but diesel will go up by P0.45 per liter and kerosene by P0.65.

Eastern Petroleum Corp., PTT Philippines Corp., and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., are implementing similar changes except for kerosene as these companies do not carry the commodity in their product line up.

For Flying V, the price adjustments will take place at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and at 6 a.m. for the other oil companies.

According to data from the Department of Energy, gasoline prices currently range from P42.80 to P54.30 per liter, diesel from P29.40 to P37.47, and kerosene from P32.60 to P39.25. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
