Customs officers seize P6.3M in misdeclared products

Customs Bureau officials seized P6.3 million worth of misdeclared products in Cagayan de Oro City, according to a Saturday night GMA News TV Live bulletin.

The misdeclared products, shipped in 9 containers, turned out to be refined white sugar from Korea and Thailand, second-hand clothing, and shoes.

Customs officers will be questioning the shipment's consignee, while the seized sugar would be auctioned off. The shoes and clothing will meanwhile be destroyed. — DVM, GMA News
