Big time rollback in gasoline, diesel prices set on Tuesday
Motorists are in for a big time rollback in pump prices of petroleum products this week, marking the fifth consecutive week of fuel price cuts.
In separate advisories, Flying V, SEAOIL Philippines Inc., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., and Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex) said they are rolling back the prices per liter of diesel by P2.00, gasoline by P2.30, and kerosene by P1.85.
Eastern Petroleum Corp., PTT Pretroleum Philippines Inc., and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. will implement similar changes, except for kerosene—a product they do not carry.
In another advisory, Petro Gazz noted it will reduce the prices per liter of diesel by P2 and gasoline by P2.50.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. Tuesday, November 13.
Other firms have yet to announce any price adjustment for the week.
Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) showed the prices per liter of diesel currently range from P43.55 to P52.19, gasoline from P47.65 to P62.15, and kerosene from P48.77 to P58.85. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/KBK/VDS, GMA News
