QC fire damages 30 homes, affects 100 families

A Friday night fire along the BIR Road in Quezon City's Barangay Central damaged 30 homes and affected around 100 families, GMA 7 late night news program "Saksi" reported.

The fire reached the Second Alarm at 7:24 p.m., then reached Task Force Charlie, and was then declared under control at 11:19 p.m.

This was not the first time for Barangay Central to be hit by a fire. In Febuary of 2011, some 5,000 families were affected by a fire along the BIR road.

Some two months later, in April of 2011, another fire broke out in the barangay, leaving three residents injured and 50 families affected. — DVM, GMA News
