No charges filed vs. ‘crazy yellow Kia’ driver in Makati

A woman driver of a yellow Kia compact car walked away without charges after  hurting four security guards and damaging vehicles in an attempt to escape from an illegal parking violation at Rockwell Center in Makati City, Friday night.

A police blotter said that the yellow Kia car's driver, Jamie Camille Brojan, 28, was brought to the Makati Police Station 6 around 7 p.m.

The blotter said Brojan was brought to the police station for an illegal parking violation at Rockwell Center.

In a video posted by Facebook user Kitty Lapeña showed the "crazy yellow Kia" hitting motorcycles while being maneuvered at the corner of Kalayaan Avenue and Don Pedro Street.

The video also showed Rockwell Center guards slapping the Kia car.

In his post, Lapeña said that Brojan alighted from her vehicle and shouted at a security guard: "How dare you hit my car!"

The post also said that the Kia car "grazed" a few more vehicles on Kalayaan Avenue as she attempted to escape the pursuing security guards on board motorcycles.

Brojan was brought to the police station on charges of multiple physical injuries and for a traffic violation.

The Makati police said Brojan was eventually released after she promised to pay for the medical treatment of the injured security guards and repair of the damaged vehicles. —ALG, GMA News
