Man shot dead in front of Ever Gotesco mall in QC

A jeepney barker was shot dead in front of Ever Gotesco mall in Quezon City on Sunday afternoon.

Responding police investigators identified the slain victim as Michael Roa Recostos, a resident of Old Balara, Quezon City.

A radio dzBB report said the victim was shot dead along the busy Commonwealth Avenue at past 5 p.m.

The area was busy during the shooting incident, but no witnesses could give policemen a description of the gunman.

Policemen said that right after gunshots were heard, people panicked that could have given the gunman an opportunity to escape unnoticed.
