Truck helper dies in freak San Juan City accident

One person died after a delivery truck hit a center island and fell on its side in San Juan City, early Wednesday.

An Unang Balita report said truck helper Joven Taboso was thrown out of the vehicle after it hit a center island in Barangay Greenhills.

After hitting the center island, the truck fell on its side and landed on Taboso.

Truck driver John Mark Sospo said he was forced to veer toward the center island to avoid a speeding passenger jeepney.
