American nabbed at NAIA over alleged plan to exploit young Pinays

A 58-year-old American yoga instructor allegedly intending to abduct and sexually exploit homeless Filipino girls was arrested by the Philippine National Police-Women and Children Protection Center (PNP-WCPC).

PNP WCPC chief Senior Superintendent Villamor Tuliao said Thursday they nabbed suspect Robinson Hoyt Alderman at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on October 15, before he was able to execute his plan.

He said the United States Homeland Security referred to them the case after a social media provider noticed Hoyt's online activities.

Alderman allegedly had already contacted at least three minor Filipino girls before going to the country.

“We have identified three victims. These are willing victims. Sa first victim, sinabi niya na he will rent an old apartment, buy a van and a motorcycle para mag-abduct ng homeless children,” Tuliao said.

He said the online conversation of the suspect and his victims were very graphic on the sexual advances he wanted to do with his victims.

“Parang mala-50 Shades of Grey 'yung gusto niyang gawin sa biktima niya,” he said.

Seized from the suspect were several vibrators, sexual paraphernalia, pills, laptop and cellphones.

Tuliao said the laptop and cellphones will be submitted to the Anti-Cybercrime Group for forensic testing.

He said the suspect is a sexual traveler who also do obscene videos.

Aside from the Philippines, Alderman also went to Vietnam and Taiwan several times, according to Tuliao.

“‘Yung passport maraming tatak, sa Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines. He was able to travel 2 to 3 times each sa mga bansang ito,” he said.

The three victims, aged 14 to 15, have been rescued and brought to Manila Social Welfare and Development. —KBK, GMA News
