3-year-old girl abducted in Las Piñas

A three-year-old girl is believed to have been abducted by an unidentified woman in Las Piñas City last Saturday.

A 24 Oras report by Cedric Castillo on Tuesday showed CCTV footage of a woman walking down an alley in Velasquez Compound in Barangay Daniel Fajardo at past 10 p.m.

At around the same time, said the report, Daisy Lyn Bumatay's 3-year-old daughter Princess asked permission to go to a nearby store to buy something.

"Ugali non pag halimbawa galing ako ng trabaho, minsan kumukuha 'yan ng pera sa wallet ko, bibili," Bumatay recalled. She instructed another child to follow the little girl, but the sibling came back to tell Bumatay that Princess was no longer to be found.

Footage from another CCTV camera showed the unidentified woman carrying a small child six minutes after the first footage showed her walking down the alley.

Bumatay believes the woman was carrying Princess, and noted that her daughter's tsinelas were found in the area.

The report said residents have seen the video footage but could not identify the woman.

"Walang nakakakilala. Pero 'yung mga tropa ko nakita na nila dala kapatid ko," Princess' brother Mark Lester Biato said.

Bumatay has reported the incident to authorities. She also appealed to the woman to bring back her child.

"Kung sino ka man na babae ka, nananawagan ako sa iyo, isauli mo na ang anak ko, pakiusap..." she said. — Anna Felicia Bajo/BM, GMA News
