PDEA: P15-M shabu seized in Manila buy-bust

Authorities on Saturday night arrested seized three kilograms of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said its operatives and members of the Manila Police District seized the drugs from a certain alias Jason Chen of Alonzo Street, Sta. Cruz.

The buy-bust operation was conducted at the corner of Pasaje del Carmen Street and Roxas Boulevard at around 7:30 p.m..

The PDEA said drugs seized from the suspect were placed in three plastic packs and has a street value of P15 million.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspect. —report from Anna Felicia Bajo/ALG, GMA News
