Heavy traffic expected as 3 lanes cordoned off on Commonwealth Ave. for MRT7
Traffic is expected to become heavier as construction of a station of the Metro Rail Transit-7 (MRT7) started on Commonwealth Avenue near the corner of Tandang Sora Avenue, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said, according to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, MMDA cordoned off three lanes in the said area for the construction activity.
At around 7 a.m. Wednesday, however, traffic was still smooth in the area.
Meanwhile, traffic built up on Commonwealth Avenue at past 4 a.m. after a van hit a motorcycle.
The rider and his companion were brought to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment. —KG, GMA News
