(Update) MANILA Philippines - Police authorities are now investigating the brutal attack and robbery of a British national inside a motel room in Pasay City Tuesday night. Radio dzBB's Denver Trinidad reported Wednesday that the victim, Richard Slinger, 48, failed to take a good look at the assailant, who hit him in the head. Slinger was found tied up and bloodied early Wednesday morning inside his room at a motel along Libertad in Pasay City, near the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) head office. He lost some P200,000 in valuables, including a bracelet, a necklace, a wristwatch, and a cell phone.
