UP Diliman graduate tops geodetic engineering board exams


A total of 154 out of 400 passed the Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in Manila on September 2 and 3, 2010, The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday. The top ten examinees and their scores are as follows: 1. MACHELE MEDEZ FELICEN, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 87.20 2. HELEN MARY SAMONTE LABAO, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 86.20 3. HOMER MARQUEZ PAGKALINAWAN, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 85.60 4. MARK WESLEY TABLANTE DALIDA, FEATI UNIVERSITY - 85.40 5. ED CARLA MAE ACIDILLA TOMOLING, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 84.80 6. MARK VENER DESPUES VERGARA, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 84.40 7. JAY ONG ABARCA, NORTHERN MINDANAO STATE INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY - 83.40 8. JONALYN DIZON BERNABE, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES-DILIMAN - 83.00 9. JOSEPH NAYRE MORALES, VISAYAS STATE UNIVERSITY-BAYBAY - 82.80 GRETCHEN NANETH GUZON PLAZA, CARAGA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - 82.80 KIMBERLY POSADAS ROSARIO, SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY - 82.80 10. Three schools registered a 100% passing rate in the exams: University of the Philippines-Diliman, University of La Salette-Santiago, and Bulacan National Agricultural State College. The members of the Board of Geodetic Engineering who administered the exam are Engr. Benjamin O. Mindajao, Chairman; Engr. Restituto U. Bautista and Engr. Pedro L. Noble, Members. The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be held on October 1, 2010 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel. - GMANews.TV
