Kerwin Espinosa faces senators, links De Lima, police officials to drugs

The Senate on Wednesday resumed its investigation on the November 5 killing of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa in a supposed shootout with the police inside his detention cell, with the slain official's son, Kerwin, a suspected drug lord, as the main resource person. During the hearing that lasted from morning to early evening, Kerwin cleared his father from involvement in the illegal drug trade, but admitted giving drug money to Senator Leila de Lima and several policemen in the Visayas.
