Duterte while visiting Crame: Sinilip ko presuhan ni De Lima

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he looked for Senator Leila de Lima's detention cell during his visit at the police headquarters.

In a speech before what he called business barons for the Philippine Development Forum: Sulong Pilipinas 2017, Duterte remembered De Lima when he discussed the alleged killings committed by the Parojinog clan in Ozamiz City.

De Lima in 2009, as the head of the Commission on Human Rights, conducted an investigation on the existence of the alleged Davao Death Squad. She inspected a quarry where bones of possible victims of extrajudicial killings during Duterte's mayorship were believed to have been dumped.

"‘Yung kay Delilah sa’kin, skeletal lang naman ‘yun. Nagpunta ako doon sa Crame, sinilip ko ‘yung presuhan niya," he said.

"Pssssttt. Gusto kong sabihin o… Malayo man. Nagpunta ako sabi ko, saan na ‘yung g— na ‘yun? Doon dinala ako. Magtawag," he added.

Duterte was in Camp Crame for the 116th Police Service anniversary. He then attended a command conference and met with elite policemen bound for Marawi City.

De Lima has been detained in Camp Crame since February over drug charges. Her recent visitors include lawmakers from the European Union, which irked Duterte.

"I cannot imagine that—her capacity to… Imagine, she can even convince foreigners—‘yung mga t— mga EU. Hijo de…Tapos magpunta dito to declare… 'Can she be house arrested because she’s a prisoner of conscience?' Pu… Pagka-b— talaga itong mga... You are losing the matters there," he said.

Duterte even brought up De Lima's alleged sex video to stress his disbelief that EU lawmakers were defending the senator.

"With all the, you know… Pati ‘yung pardon… ‘Yung video. Hindi niyo tinignan kung anong klaseng babae ‘yan? And they come here and say na she’s a prisoner of conscience. My god," he said.

"Sandali lang, I’m trying to replay the video. Huwag kayong maingay, you are disturbing me. I can still see the dog na ‘yung karga-karga niya palagi sa opisina niya," he added, as some businessmen laughed. — BAP, GMA News
