Kapunan claims Bautista has two properties used as sex dens

Lawyer Lorna Kapunan, who is the spokesperson of Patricia Bautista, said on Thursday that Commission on Elections chairman Andres Bautista has two properties which are being used as sex dens.

In an interview on GMA News' Unang Balita, Kapunan confirmed that a whip and condoms were also found inside the cabinet where Patricia discovered her husband's passbooks and other documents.

"Alam niyo, hindi na namin pinag-uusapan 'yung latigo although he claims that he bought it for a commissioner of the Comelec. Galit na galit rin ang Commissioner ng Comelec na 'yan because hindi naman daw totoo na souvenir daw ito na pinabili sa India," Kapunan said.

"And if that is true, India happened several months ago. Bakit nasa kanya pa 'yung latigo? Totoo lahat 'yan. In fact, we have physically that evidence—the latigo, the supply of condoms, et cetera," she added.

Kapunan said the Comelec chief himself admitted to his wife that his two properties are being used as sex dens.

At inamin niya sa asawa niya na out of consideration. Some lawyers whose names I will not mention, binibigyan siya ng babae doon at inamin na niya 'yon sa wife niya," Kapunan said.

The Bautistas are in the middle of a bitter spat where Patricia is claiming that her husband has undeclared wealth amounting to nearly P1 billion. Patricia's allegations were firmly dismissed by her husband, suspecting that their marital problem is the reason for her complaints.

The Comelec chief on Wednesday revealed that he, along with his family, filed criminal complaints against his wife which include qualified theft, extortion, robbery, and grave coercion and one other charge not mentioned by Bautista. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KG, GMA News
