Another Customs official resigns amid issues of corruption
Another Bureau of Customs official has tendered his resignation amid allegations of corruption hounding the agency.
During the House hearing on the P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China on Wednesday, Bureau of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service Director Neil Anthony Estrella said he has submitted his resignation to the Office of the President on Monday.

On Tuesday, Customs Import Assessment Service Director Milo Maestrecampo handed his courtesy resignation following accusations he accepted bribes to allow the entry of smuggled goods into the country.
Estrella is also one of the officials named as having received bribe money.
