Mocha Uson on Trillanes’ libel threat: Paki-Google ang meaning ng alleged

Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson hit back at Senator Trillanes after the latter threatened to sue her and two others for libel for alleging that he had offshore bank accounts.

In a Facebook post, Uson asked that the meaning of the word "alleged" be looked up, indicating that the details of the bank accounts she shared on her wall was the claim of Davao Breaking News.

She added that President Rodrigo Duterte would be criticized for stifling democratic processes if he was the one who threatened to file libel suits against his critics.

Duterte's supporters have criticized Trillanes for alleging that the President had ill-gotten wealth in some bank accounts while presenting no evidence aside from challenging the Chief Executive to execute bank secrecy waivers. —NB, GMA News
