Duterte apologizes for police involvement in illegal drugs, crimes

President Rodrigo Duterte apologized for the involvement of police officers in illegal drugs and other crimes, GMA  7 news program "24 Oras Weekend" reported on Sunday.

Duterte added that police involvement in illegal activities was the reason Caloocan City police officers had been relieved.

The president also apologized for the deaths stemming from his war on drugs, but the program would nevertheless continue given that the country had turned into a narco-state. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/DVM GMA News
