Former President Benigno Aquino III and Vice President Leni Robredo are among those in attendance at a mass commemorating the 45th anniversary of the declaration of martial law at the University of the Philippines on Thursday.
Anti-extrajudicial killings group Tindig Pilipinas offered a mass for the victims of human rights violations during the Martial Law regime of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos.
Senators Franklin Drilon, Francis Pangilinan and Bam Aquino and former senator Mar Roxas, all from the Liberal Party, are also in attendance.
