Duterte: Reds, Yellows now allied to oust me

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday claimed that the Reds, the communists, and the Yellows, the members of the Liberal Party, are now working together to oust him.

"But what is really very clear is ‘yung Left pati––ang kaalyado ng Left is, ng mga Bayan is the… mga… ‘yung mga dilaw," Duterte told reporters in Malacañang.

"Gusto nila ako paalisin dito sa Malacañan. O ‘di bigyan mo akong panahon magbalot. Eh basta-basta na lang tayo… But, I will show to the Republic that we have a very serious problem with our government officials," he added.

Duterte was asked if Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno are behind a destabilization plot against him.

"In fairness also to the ladies, actually she is just part of the concerted effort which I cannot clearly state would be a part of the program ng Left," he said.

Nonetheless, the President maintained that he would step down if his lifetime savings exceed P40 million amid the Office of the Ombudsman's probe into his family's wealth.

Duterte, ahead of the September 21 protest activities, said he could not determine whether the left was joining the LP members or the LP members joining the left.

Both the communists and the LP held protests against his administration on the 45th anniversary of the late dictator’s martial law declaration.
