Analyst’s take on Indonesia, Malaysia helping PHL to fight terrorism

GMA News resident analyst Richard Heydarian on Wednesday said Malaysia and Indonesia's possible entry in eradicating piracy and terrorism in the country was a "complicated issue."

This came after President Rodrigo Duterte said he was open to the possibility that Malaysia and Indonesia would help in fighting terrorism in the Philippines.

In an interview on News To Go, Heydarian pointed out that the coordinated maritime patrols among the three countries should be considered.

According to Heydarian, Indonesia and Malaysia are still reluctant. The two countries are still getting details on it. — Anna Felicia Bajo/MDM, GMA News
