Solons who voted to find probable cause in Sereno impeach complaint

Thirty-eight members of the House Committee on Justice on Thursday voted to find probable cause in the impeachment complaint against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

The voting came after a series of 15 probable cause hearings, where the panel heard testimonies from witnesses and discussed documentary evidence to shed light on the allegations lodged against Sereno by lawyer-complainant Lorenzo "Larry" Gadon.

Only two panel members, Representatives Kaka Bag-ao of Dinagat Islands and Jose Christopher "Kit" Belmonte of the 6th District of Quezon City, voted against the finding of probable cause.
