Duterte brings up 'sex tape' anew to lash back at De Lima over OFW kiss

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday lashed back at Senator Leila de Lima for criticizing his act of kissing a Filipino woman during his official visit to South Korea early this month.

Speaking before land reform beneficiaries in Iloilo, Duterte threatened to release the supposed sex video featuring De Lima and her alleged paramour, which became subject of the House inquiry on proliferation of illegal drugs inside the New Bilibid Prison in 2016.

"There's a lady. Nakakulong. Sabi niya bastos daw yung ginawa ko," Duterte said.

"Kung may screen lang kayo dito, ipapakita ko 'yung X-rated niya. Nakalimutan niya siya ang pinakabastos dito. You forget conveniently that you started the most, pinakabastos na magawa ng isang senador," he added.

De Lima, currently detained on drug charges, had characterized the President's act as demeaning to women, adding it was "sickening."

The President had said the kiss was "pure showbiz" intended to entertain a crowd of overseas Filipino workers in Seoul on June 3.

He also said he will resign if enough women are offended and sign a petition calling for him to step down. —JST/MDM, GMA News
