UPCAT to be held on Sept. 15-16, 2018

The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for Academic Year 2019 will be held on September 15 and 16, 2018, the university announced on its official Twitter account.

Submission of applications to the Office of Admissions is from July 16 to August 10, 2018.

Deadlines for filing of applications are as follows:

• Metro Manila Private Schools - July 27, 2018
• Metro Manila Public Schools - August 3, 2018
• Regional Private and Public Schools - August 10, 2018

However, applications received after the August 10 deadline will be processed only if test permits are still available.

Over 103,000 students applied to take the UPCAT in 2017. 

Only 80,000 of them however took the exam, and 17 percent or 14,000 were accepted. —Maia Tria/KG, GMA News
