PHL Embassy in Saudi Arabia warns of fake Pag-IBIG, SSS collectors

Overseas Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia were warned by the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh against making Pag-IBIG and Social Security System payments with unauthorized agents. In a Wednesday news release, the embassy provided a list of authorized collectors. For Pag-IBIG, these are: - APEX Cargo in Batha, Riyadh - Kapamilya Supermarket in Batha, Riyadh - Skyfreight Forwarders , Incorporated (TFC) in KSA, and - Telemoney (only in Balad, Jeddah, c/o Harry Racho) Pag-IBIG Fund numbers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are 0537980452 (Riyadh) 053117706 (Al-Khobar) and 0564947732 (Jeddah). For the SSS, authorized collectors are: - Telemoney Center: PNB/RCBC - Tahweel Al Rajhi: BDO/Land Bank - Enjaz: ABS-CBN My Remit/AUB - Ventaja outlets: Skyfreight/APEX/Kapamilya/Al Rajhi Movers - Online banking: via BancNetonline.com - PayPilinas.com - Auto Debit Arrangement with Philippine Banks (PNB, BDO, Metro Bank, AUB, BPI) The SSS website at www.sss.gov.ph can provide more information. The Philippine Embassy issued the warning in order to protect OFWs from the false representations of alleged fake agents, one of whom was discovered to be soliciting patronage through social media. Pag-IBIG Fund said the fake agent was "not in any way authorized" to accept remittance of Pag-IBIG savings and loan payment from Pag-IBIG members in Saudi Arabia. “[Any] payment made to...
