30 arrested in raid on Pampanga shabu tiangge

MANILA, Philippines — At least 30 persons were picked up for questioning following a raid on a suspected drug flea market in Mabalacat town in Pampanga province on Thursday. Radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr. reported Thursday night that the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) swooped down on the flea market along Roxas Street in Dau village. Seized from the flea market were sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) and drug paraphernalia. The 30 were brought to PDEA headquarters in Metro Manila. PDEA operatives brought with them a search warrant issued by Quezon City judge Thelma Ponferrada. - GMANews.TV
