Suspected salvage victim found in Cavite – police


MANILA, Philippines – Police authorities on Tuesday morning found the body of a suspected salvage victim in Bacoor town in Cavite province. Citing reports from Bacoor’s Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO), PO2 Romar Sinong of the Bacoor police said the unidentified man might have been strangled to death because he had rope marks on his neck. "Mayroon tayong na-receive na tawag mga 7:30 ng umaga. May isang lalaki na salvage victim sa Niyog Tres. Nasa gilid po ito ng kalsada. Wala naman saksak, maliban sa marka sa leeg. Findings ng SOCO ang kaniyang pagkamatay, sinakal po sa pamamagitan ng lubid," Sinong said in an interview on dzBB radio.
