Two dead in trainer aircraft crash in Bulacan

(Updated Sept. 16, 2:40 a.m.) Two pilots died when the trainer airplane  they were flying crashed at the Plaridel Airport in Bulacan on Tuesday.

Radio station dzBB reported that the pilot-in-command of the ill-fated C152 was declared dead on arrival while the student pilot was initially in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.

The pilot-in-command and casualty has been identified as Arthur Rebollido while the student was identified as James Phillip Oquilda.


The trainer airplane had just taken off when it crash landed, the initial report gathered by GMA News showed.

The aircaft crashed at the end of the airport's runway in Barangay Agnaya. —NB/ELR, GMA News
