Motorcycle rider slaps traffic enforcer in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

A motorcycle rider was caught on closed-circuit television slapping a traffic enforcer in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The rider was previously apprehended by the traffic enforcer, according to a report on Unang Balita on Thursday.

The barangay captain called both parties to a meeting at the barangay hall.

When the two arrived at the barangay hall, the rider, identified as Rey Casacop, pointed a finger at the traffic enforcer, Arwin Boy Savarre, then slapped him.

The barangay captain and some barangay tanod stepped in to ease the tension.

However, while they were explaining, Casacop kicked Savarre.

The traffic enforcer said he will file direct assault and physical injury raps against Casacop.

The rider declined to give a comment. —KG, GMA News
