Fire hits Ormoc City mall

A fire of still undetermined origin gutted a part of the Gaisano Capital mall in Ormoc City early Sunday morning.

Radio dzBB reported that the fire has reached the 3rd Alarm and continued to rage as of 9 a.m.

Citing initial information from the Bureau of Fire Protection, the report said that the fire destroyed a big part of the 3rd Floor of the establishment with one of its walls threatening to collapse.

As of posting time, firefighters were still trying to control the fire. —LBG, GMA News
