Ozamiz City 'most wanted' posters include Councilor Parojinog

A group of concerned citizens supposedly put up posters of Ozamiz City's "most wanted" persons allegedly involved in illegal activities.

According to a Balitanghali report by Cedric Castillo on Wednesday, Councilor Ricardo "Ardot" Parojinog, brother of deceased Mayor Reynaldo, was included in the posters.

The posters showed reward money and contact details for those who can provide information about the suspected criminals. Some of the posters, however, were already torn and removed.

The citizens, who were not identified, said the information they will obtain will be turned over to authorities.

The Ozamiz City police earlier denied that their camp posted the photos of alleged criminals, but they welcomed the initiative of the concerned citizens.

The Parojinog clan, on the other hand, refused to comment on the issue.

They already dismissed accusations that their family was involved in illegal activities such as killings, illegal drug trade, and bank robbery.

A bloody predawn raid against the Parojinogs resulted in the deaths of 16 people.
