Cop, barangay security force member nabbed in Mindoro drug bust

Three people, including a policeman and a barangay security force member, were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro on Friday afternoon.

Authorities identified the policeman as a certain Police Officer 3 Delos Santos while the Barangay Peacekeeping and Security Officers (BSPO) member was Rodel Entible Azucena.

They were arrested along with Armando Bantag, the main subject of the entrapment operation conducted at Purok 3, Marzan Village in Barangay San Roque 2, San Jose town at around 3 p.m.

Authorities said that Delos Santos and Azucena were found by policemen inside Bantag's house during the operation.

Police seized a sachet of suspected shabu from Delos Santos. Azucena, meanwhile, was tagged by policemen as a high value drug personality. —ALG, GMA News
