Fire guts Boracay's D'Talipapa


The famous D'Talipapa on Boracay Island in Aklan province was reduced to ashes after a four-hour fire early Monday.

Radio dzBB's Jan Allen Ascaño reported that the fire at the D'Talipapa started at around 4 a.m.

The fire was declared out at past 8 a.m.

Ascaño reported that the fire spread quickly and totally damaged all stalls at the almost hectare-long D'Talipapa.

Authorities have yet to determine how the fire started. —ALG/KVD, GMA News
