4 cops, teacher nabbed for causing trouble at Lucena bar

Six people, including four police officers and a teacher, were arrested for nuisance and firing of gun at a bar in Lucena City at past 4 a.m. Saturday.

The incident occurred at the Central Park Garden Cafe, Grand Terminal, Barangay Ilayang Dupay, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Peewee Bacuño.

The suspects were identified as Police Officers 1 (PO1) Robert Boneo Quirrez, Maynard De Rana and PO2  Michelle Encanto Eyatid, of Burdeos Municipal Police Station; PO1  Jeriel Dela Cruz Suarez of National Capital Region Police Office; Elmar Boneo Quirez, a teacher by profession; and Jose Javar Capus, a helper.

They are facing charges of causing alarm and scandal, indiscriminate firing, and violation of ASEAN gun ban. —with a report from Jamil Joseph Santos/LBG, GMA News
