Urduja brings strong winds, heavy rains in Eastern Visayas, parts of Mindanao
Some structures in several areas in the Visayas and parts of Mindanao were damaged due to Tropical Storm Urduja's strong winds and heavy rains.

Meanwhile, a bridge in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental was damaged due to the strong winds and rains brought by the storm.

As of 7 p.m., Urduja was still crossing Samar and its center was in the vicinity of San Jorge town.
It has slightly weakened, packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 120 kph.
Urduja made landfall over San Policarpio town in Eastern Sarmar at 1:30 p.m. and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday. —Jessica Bartolome/ALG, GMA News
