Police bare Boracay security plan
The Metro Boracay Police Task Force on Monday showed the security plan for the closure of the island which will take effect on April 26.
According to report by GMA News' Joseph Morong on GMA News TV's Balitanghali, authorities vowed to implement stricter rules and regulations during the six-month closure of the island.
Residents, workers and resort owners will be allowed to enter the island upon their presentation of identification cards with specific addresses in any of the three barangays.
The Philippine National Police Region 6, together with personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Navy, have started to roam and monitor the area.

The report said there is only one entry point (Caticlan Jetty Port) and one exit point (Cagban Jetty Port) for the people who are allowed to enter the island.
No floating structures shall be allowed within three kilometers from the shoreline, it added.
Meanwhile, the designated swimming area for residents will be at Willy's Rock Station 1. Swimming time will be from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
