Man climbs and falls from NGCP tower in Iloilo


A man fell from a height equivalent to an 11-storey building in Tigbauan town, Iloilo province, according to a report on Saksi.

The man, who was not identified by officials as of posting time, climbed a tower owned and operated by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

He was still fortunate, as at the time he fell, rescuers prepared foam and hay.

The man climbed the tower ala Spiderman and held on to the cable for at least five hours.

It was reported that he climbed the tower after he experienced a nervous breakdown.

He has been taken to the hospital for treatment and is in a critical condition. — BAP, GMA News
