Gaisano Mall in Gensan hit by fire anew

Hours after authorities have put out the blaze, the Gaisano Mall in General Santos City was once again hit by a fire just before 7 p.m. on Thursday according to a report on 24 Oras.

Firefighters are now in the area but they have yet to identify the cause of the blaze.

Gaisano Mall was first gutted by a fire on Wednesday night after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake rocked Mindanao.

After 18 hours, authorities declared fire out at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Vonne Aquino’s report on 24 Oras, the Bureau of Fire Protection estimated P2 billion in damages due to the blaze. —Julia Mari Ornedo/LDF, GMA News
