Senate ready for teleconferencing with Trillanes

MANILA, Philippines - When the Senate resumes session on April 13, it will be ready to accommodate with detained Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV in its sessions, a radio report said Thursday. Radio dzXL reported that Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said the equipment is ready for the teleconferencing with Trillanes, who is detained in Camp Crame. The Senate resumes session April 13, immediately after the Holy Week. In past weeks, the Senate had been testing equipment for a teleconferencing system to allow Trillanes to participate in debates and deliberations. Potentially, the equipment will also allow senators to take part in sessions when they are abroad or out of town on official business. - GMANews.TV
